Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress, best known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. Later, in 1956, she got her first big break with a performance on Broadway with Li'l Abner. The same year, She recorded her first album of music It's Time to Tina. Louise debuted on the screen in Hollywood with God's Little Acre which was a dramatic that was released in the year 1958. She performed the role of Griselda, a character in the movie. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's teacher. The next role she starred in was from 1964, when she signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise maintained a successful career balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying somber, as opposed to her glamour-doll image received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's made a name for herself as a director of well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. Born in Essex on the 28th of August on the 28th of August, 1965. The family moved to Toronto for her childhood. In 1997 after being selected for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in Vancouver ever since.
