Hayley Orrantia, she is an American singer-songwriter and actress. People are most familiar with her as Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. While she is a performer but her main passion is music. She maintains that music is her first passion. It is something she is experimenting with since she was nine years old. At the age of 12 years old, music was serious enough for her to start training professionally. In the age of 13, she began writing songs. The first time she recorded an album when she was 14. It was the beginning of her career. Orrantia was born in the USA and yet she is of Hispanic heritage. She is a native of Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English when a young girl and her whole life was in the United States. In her pursuit of learning Spanish and composing songs, she strives to keep the culture alive. A song she has created is called "Hasta Verte," which she recorded in Spanish. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was chosen from YouTube videos and received the four "yeses," from judges at Seattle during live audition phase. Though she initially auditioned as a solo artist, in "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three other female vocalists were placed in groups for the remaining part of auditions. They were eventually eliminated at the conclusion of the fifth performance.
